Palmeri claims United could be looking for a new head coach. During the upcoming international break and also says the Premier League giants have made Inzaghi an offer he has rejected.
“Manchester United are in urgent talks to decide whether to make a managerial change during the international break,” Palmeri tweeted.
“In the last few days, Manchester United made an offer to Simone Inzaghi to take over the team immediately during the break, but Inzaghi rejected it.”
Inzaghi impressed as manager of Inter, who won Serie A last season and also led them to the Champions League final the previous season.
